Your BBB is hosting Secure Your ID Day. This is a FREE community shredding event that will help fight identity theft. Protecting your identity is largely in you own hands. More than half of all identity theft victims traced the theft to something that was stolen from their own possession.
Bring up to 5 boxes or bags of paper documents that contain information you do not want in the hands of identity thieves.
If you don't need it, destroy it— responsibly! BBB encourages you to bring old bills, credit card records and other personal paperwork.
